This Privacy Policy explains how Planka Mobile ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Planka Mobile is a third-party client that connects to your self-hosted Planka instance or other Planka servers of your choosing.
Data We Do Not Collect or Store
We do not collect, store, or have access to:
- Your Planka server credentials or authentication tokens
- Your boards, projects, cards, or any content within your Planka instance
- Your server URL or connection information
- Any data transmitted between the App and your Planka server
All data you enter into the App is transmitted directly to your designated Planka server and is governed by that server's privacy practices and your own data management policies.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob
We display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized advertising. This may include:
- Device identifiers
- IP address
- General location data
- App usage data

Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App, including:
- App opens and session duration
- Screen views
- Device type and operating system
- General geographic region

Removing Third-Party Tracking
If you purchase the premium upgrade to remove ads, AdMob advertising and associated data collection will be disabled for your device.
In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time premium purchase to remove advertisements. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store any payment information.
Data Security
Since the App functions as a client for your self-hosted Planka server, the security of your Planka data depends on your server configuration. We recommend:
- Using HTTPS for your Planka server connection
- Following security best practices for your self-hosted instance
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
